Mr Michel Roger’s visit to the Italy Food Stand for the 20th edition of the Food Fair
As every year, The Minister of State, Mr Michel Roger opened the Monte Carlo Food Fair This year ItalyFood had no fewer than 6 producers at its stand which attracted the minister’s attention and he stayed for a long time on Friday morning.
In company with Mr Caroli, the president of Promocom and the organizer of the Food Fair, he tasted the creamy mozzarella from the Latteria Provenzale, continuing with the famous and delicious Pesto de Pra from Genoa with its unique taste of fresh basil and parmesan.
E commerce in 2016 with Italy Food
During a discussion with the minister, Mario Moranzoni, the president of ItalyFood Monte Carlo, announced that in 2016 ecommerce would be launched, managed from Monaco. This will allow small producers of quality products in Italy to sell to French, Monegasque and Italian markets to begin with.

The fair then continued with the tasting of the Prosecco Le Rive, the wines of Marrone from the Langue Hills, the coffee of Nero Nobile and the panettone and grissini from Pasticceria Barra. All at the ItalyFood stand and presented by the famous Olivier Taboué.
