Kitchen and sport Mens sana in corpore sano

Do not hesitate a split second. And how about your sport session today ?

I know that our region is full of enticing culinary specialities and that Italy has a lot to do with it, but come on !

Do not forget the basics: pair the table pleasures with the physical well-being, because who said that the two were incompatible ?

Associating fine culinary products with physical activity is the key to a healthy body .

You just have to know what to eat and when.

To get to the heart of the subject, let’s talk about Pilates. This method is based on postural exercise meant to tone the body in length and depth to gain longer and stronger muscles, and thus refine the figure, soften the silhouette and make the body more mobile. The goal being, on top of the aesthetics side of things, to increase well-being and reduce back pain in particular .

Pilates is recommended for everyone, and even recommended for people suffering from hernia, sciatica, arthritis and other back complications that represent the plague of the century.

The elite athlete seeking to strengthen its abs and become more agile, as well as someone who has never done any sport in his life, will all find their well-being in this exercise method.

And after all that exercise you have to recharge, right ?

Of course! And what better than a good plate of spaghetti with pesto, or a good tomatoes and mozzarella salad with a drizzle of olive oil ? Thanks to our Italian friends for providing us with such great products, Italy is a true gourmet pool ( and healthy on top ) within our reach, provided, as it is always the case with all good things, we do not have too much of it.

As a private trainer, specializing in Pilates, and gourmand / gourmet I will suggest ideas and tips on sports, wellness and Italian cuisine that, despite the prejudices, may very well pair together.

Enjoy your meal !

Bon appétit
