CUBED "COLOMBA"

Ingredients

(serves 6 or more)

Preparation

Prepare an aromatic infusion by bringing water, sugar, cinnamon, orange rind and anise seeds to a boil. Let it cool.
Cover with cling film and let infuse in the fridge for at least 24 hours.
Cut the COLOMBA into square slices.
Brush each slice with the sieved infusion and place one on top of the other in an irregular fashion.
Dust with icing sugar and serve.
 
If you prefer, serve this dessert with a spoonful of chantilly crème or whipped cream.

Ideal accompaniment:

Moscato or swit wine or Prosecco
