Walnut sauce

Walnut sauce is another typical traditional Ligurian sauce, famous mainly in the province of Genoa.

It has a creamy sauce, ivory coloured and with a sweet flavour which tastes of walnuts, and marries particularly well with borage ravioli and vegetarian pansotti.
