SLICES OF GRILLED SALMON AND FRESH GINGER
Ingredients
- slice of fresh salmon
- lemon
- fresh ginger
- white wine
- extra virgin olive oil
- pepper
- parsley
Preparation
Marinate your salmon steaks with lemon, ginger flakes, white wine, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and parsley. Let it stand for 15-20 minutes in the fridge.
Meanwhile turn on the grill to cook them with lemon slices and serve the dish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a twist of lemon juice for a tasty summer lunch.
A potato and carrot salad is a fresh, summer and really simple side dish that you can combine with grilled salmon.
Ideal accompaniment:
- potatoes
- carrots
- salt
- extra virgin olive oil
- vinegar ( white, red wine or apple cider vinegar)
Preparation:
Peel some potatoes and carrots and cut them into medium cubes. Boil salted water in a saucepan/pot and cook the vegetables. When your carrots and potatoes are cooked, drain them and let them get cold. Season them with salt, extra virgin olive oil and vinegar (1 tablespoon, add more vinegar if you like strong flavors).
Important tip: let your seasoned potatoes and carrots stand in the fridge for one hour to get a fresh and tasty salad.
