Savoury carrots in pan
Ingredients
(for 2-4 people)
- 4 carrots
- Salt, pepper, sugar
- Extra virgin olive oil
- ½ onion
- 1 cup (235 gr.) white wine
- Marjoram
- 1 cup (235 gr.) water
Preparation
- Wash the carrots and boil.
- With a knife peel the carrots off and cut in round thin pieces.
- In a non stick pan, put some extra virgin olive oil.
- Put the carrots, season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Add a cup of water, cover the pan.
- Cook capped for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add a cup of white wine and sprinkle profusely with marjoram.
- Cover the pan again and cook for about 20 minutes. Stir sometimes.
