Ingredients

(for 2-4 people)

  • 4 carrots
  • Salt, pepper, sugar
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ onion
  • 1 cup (235 gr.) white wine
  • Marjoram
  • 1 cup (235 gr.) water

Preparation

  • Wash the carrots and boil.
  • With a knife peel the carrots off and cut in round thin pieces.
  • In a non stick pan, put some extra virgin olive oil.
  • Put the carrots, season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Add a cup of water, cover the pan.
  • Cook capped for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add a cup of white wine and sprinkle profusely with marjoram.
  • Cover the pan again and cook for about 20 minutes. Stir sometimes.
